By purchasing original artwork from this website you agree to the following terms of use. If you do not agree with the following terms of use, do not purchase art.
The only time we will exchange a purchase for another item is when the order arrives damaged; and only after an insurance claim has been filed and the damaged item has been returned.
Do to the high cost of shipping International orders, the complications with custom forms, and the time constraints, there is a NO refund policy in place for International orders.
We do, however, have a refund policy in place for orders shipped within the continental United States, and they are as follows:
We do NOT ship to post office boxes.
All orders are shipped on Fridays by noon.
If you place your order on Friday after noon, it will be shipped the following Friday.
Shipping fee includes packaging and handling fees. Therefore, no reimbursement will be made should actual shipping costs be less than price you paid for shipping your purchased product(s).
All original art shipped within the continental United States is shipped using USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.
All greeting cards shipped within the continental United States are shipped through USPS regular mail with delivery confirmation.
All orders are packaged with bubble wrap or other cushion-like material, like shredded, recycled papers. All cards are shipped in bubble mailers; envelopes lined with bubble wrap. All packages are marked as "Fragile".
According to the USPS, if your package is unclaimed after 15 days it will be returned to the sender. If the package is returned because of non-delivery (i.e. nobody accepts package, addressee rejects delivery, you provide wrong address), you'll have to pay a second shipping fee to have it re-shipped. Or I will refund the price of the item after its return (in good condition), less the cost of shipping the original package to you.
Import duties, custom fees, and international taxes are not included in the price of the artwork.
International buyers are responsible for all international taxes, customs fees, and import duties.
Orders will not be marked as "gifts" or "devalued" as it's against the law to do so.
You are purchasing a license to use our art for personal use only.
You are NOT purchasing the copyrights to the artwork itself. All copyrights remain with us.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you have an issue with your order once it has arrived, drop us an email, explain the problem with your order, and give us adequate time to help resolve your issue.
Damagaed goods: If your order arrives damaged, REFUSE delivery immediately. You are required to report the damage upon receipt. Your carrier will want to see the damaged box and content before signing and taking responsibility for the damaged package.
If your order appears in good shape upon delivery but after opening the package it is damaged, please take photos then hold onto EVERYTHING... the artwork, the packaging, the packaging materials, the labeling, etc. These items will be needed to launch an investigation when we make an insurance claim.
You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the damaged shipment in order to properly initiate the insurance claim.
Damaged goods are not eligible for refunds, under our refund policy. They must be handled through insurance claims. DO NOT mail your damaged goods back to us until you've spoken with us and we've properly filed the insurance claims as each insurer may have different policies and guidelines to follow.
Technical Issues: If you run into technical difficulties placing an order, please email us with details of the problem and we'll do our best to help you resolve the issue.
Whenever you buy something that is handcrafted by a human being, imperfections are inevitable.
Imperfections are part of the charm of buying handmade. They add character and in no way ruin the overall beauty of the piece.
We charge sales tax if your order is shipped to South Dakota or you reside in the state of South Dakota.
Unless otherwise stated, each piece of art is an original, one-of-a-kind creation.
Delicate Finish: Paint finish is delicate. Artist always seals art with a few coats of varnish, brush-on glaze, or acrylic sealer to protect the artwork; however, dings and scratches can occur if the artwork is handled roughly so please handle with care.
Artwork is not waterproof. Please keep artwork away from damp, moist, or wet areas.
Altered Art Jars: Art jars are not to be used for consumption. Although each art jar originated from a container that held eatable or drinkable items they should not be used for food or beverage consumption in their altered states.
When an item has been recycled from a food or beverage container, there is potential for allergic reactions. We do our best to sanitize each item we repurpose, via both hand washing and a hot dishwasher wash, but allergic reactions could still occur. We will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions should you purchase a product which once housed an item you may or may not be allergic to.
Colors May Vary: Image coloring may vary. Photos may not show true depth of layers or texture and colors may vary depending on monitor calibrations.
By purchasing artwork from us, you agree that you are purchasing the art on an "as is" and "without warranty" basis.
