eBook FAQS & Terms Of Use
By purchasing an e-book from this website you agree to the following terms of use. If you do not agree with the following terms of use, please do not purchase an e-book.
E-books are sold for personal use only. The author of the e-book retains copyright ownership. You cannot give your e-book away, upload it to free sharing sites, sell it to others, or share your copy with others.

You acknowledge that you are using the information contained within our e-books at your own risk, as is, and without warranty.
An electronic book, or e-book for short, is a book that is saved as a computer file and distributed via the Internet. In layman's terms, our e-books are written in Microsoft Word, saved as a .pdf file using Adobe Acrobat and then distributed to buyers through automatic download.
We do our best to make sure every e-book you receive has quality information in it. We spend a lot of time in the trenches: researching, interviewing, editing, tweaking, and proofing. When we're done, we send our e-books to a copyeditor, or book doctor, for a second pair of eyes. And finally, we listen to our readers and insert information our readers feel is missing in second, third, and fourth editions.
We have a NO REFUND policy in place. Because of the nature of e-books, they are non-returnable. Since you cannot return an electronic book, we do NOT offer refunds. Our products are sold on an "as-is" basis and "without warranty". We will work with you to help resolve any technical difficulties you may experience regarding your e-book order.
- Refunds are not given, under any circumstance. Links may become obsolete. Contact information supplied in e-books can go out of date. Sometimes companies go out of business, rename their websites, or change their site maps. While we do our best to keep the resource sections up-to-date there is no guarantee.
- Refunds are not given because you cannot copy and paste or manipulate the forms into another program. As stated on every page we sell an e-book: Use these forms and sample letters as a basis for creating your own documents! Just print out and use as is or re-type them and add your own information.
- Refunds are not given because the e-books have a few blank pages. All e-books are written without blank pages. Sometimes, however, the conversion from Word to Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) causes a few blank pages. These blank pages are added pages, not the deletion of information and will not affect the quality of the e-book or your understanding of the material.
- Refunds are not give because facts differ from state-to-state due to new laws. Laws change; we can't always be on top of the changes in each state, city, or county. Our books are written as a stepping stone to help you in the right direction, it's up to you to stay current with your state's laws.
- Refunds are not given because you cannot print the e-book properly on your computer. All e-books are made printable and they are tested for printing before being sent out to buyers.
- Refunds are not given because your attempts to run a successful business failed or your attempts to create a certain arts 'n crafts project fail. While our authors do their best to show you what the average earner can make with a little hard work and effort based on the businesses each e-book was written upon, we CANNOT GUARANTEE that you will earn the same amount of money.
- Refunds are not given because you ordered the wrong e-book. It is very hard to deliver the wrong e-book as each order link is connected with the name of the e-book. If by chance, you purchased the wrong e-book, we will exchange the e-book you ordered for the correct e-book on a case-by-case basis. If the e-book you purchased is less than the e-book you wanted, you will need to pay the difference before the new e-book will be delivered. (We will send you an email with a secure payment link for the difference, and an explanation.) However, we DO NOT give refunds.
- In the event that you ordered a particular e-book and received the wrong e-book, we will verify that there was an error on our part, then send you the correct e-book.
We charge sales tax if you reside in the state of South Dakota.
All e-books require a pdf reader to be read. A pdf reader allows everyone to read our e-books provided they use one of the following computers: PC: Microsoft Windows, Macintosh: Apple, or UNIX: Linux.
To read our e-books all you have to do is download the e-books to your computer and read the file with a pdf reader.
You can download the pdf reader, Adobe Acrobat Reader, for free on the following websites:
After you successfully place an order for your e-book via our e-book order page, you will be automatically redirected to the download page for instant delivery of your order.
Besides redirecting you to the the download page, our system automatically sends a back-up email with a link to the download page. The link will expire in 36 hours or 3 download attempts.
If you are not redirected to the download page, or you did not receive the back up email due to spam filters, please contact us immediately.
We will investigate to make sure your order was successfully placed. If it was, we will resend the download link and/or send your e-book order via an email attachment.
If you discover that you're still having problems with your e-book order, please do not hesitate to contact us. No matter how reliable we like to believe technology is, it sometimes fails. Just drop us an email and explain the problem you're having. We'll see what we can do to help resolve the issue.
If you're having issues with ordering, try these solutions:
- Can't order from work computer.
You could be experiencing a problem due to firewalls. A lot of work computers block Internet transactions to protect their networks.
- "Declined - 10554-This transaction cannot be processed."
The address you are inserting does not match the address on your credit card billing statement. The Address Verification System (AVS)
is a security system set up by banks. If your address and name do not completely match, your transaction will be declined.
- "Please enter a valid Credit Card Verification Number."
Clear your cache files and then re-enter your credit card information along with the three digit number on the back of your credit card.
The three digit number on the back of your card is actually a credit card verification number, or card verification value (CW2).
If that doesn't work, please contact your credit card provider. According to our credit card processor, "If the CVV number is failing verification, the card holder will need to contact his/her issuing bank. This may also occur when credit cards have just been activated or if a new credit card has been issued and the verification system has not been updated by his/her cc holder when we attempt to verify the card."
Many Internet businesses will ask for the three digit number on the back of your card, as will many other store fronts when you charge something by phone. The reason for this is to protect you, the buyer, from credit card thieves and to protect the retailer from fraudulent orders.
If you experience a time out while trying to order, or if Paypal asks you to re-enter your information and doesn't give you the option to continue further, you may have a cookie, browser, or cache issue. Please follow the steps outlined below:
- The connection with your Internet service may be weak. Log out of your Internet service, reboot your computer, and log back online.
- Try cleaning your temporary and cache files to free up space, which also speeds your computer up and prevents dropped lines from secure pages.
- Check to make sure your Internet connection is set up to accept "cookies." Cookies help our secure shopping cart process your order.
- Secure web pages synchronize time with your computer. Check to make sure the date and time on your computer are correct by clicking on "start" in the lower left-hand corner of your computer screen. Then clicking on "settings." Click on "control panel" and double click on "date/time." Correct if necessary.
If you run into technical difficulties concerning your e-book, please see if the solution can be answered on one of the bullet points below before emailing us:
- I'm at work and I can't download the e-book or open the .pdf file you sent!
Many work email and Internet accounts have filters that prevent downloading and attachments. In fact, some accounts will delete the
complete email and you'll never receive the order. If you experience a problem, please let us know and we'll be happy to send it to your personal email account.
- I can't find the e-book on computer.
Go to the start button on the lower left corner of your monitor and click on it. When the window opens click "search". Next, click on "search for files or folders". Then, click on "all files and folders". A screen will open up and ask "How would you like to search, by file name or word or phrase?" In the "word or phrase" box, put in part of the e-book's name. Click on search. When your computer is done searching, a screen will pop up with the location of your file. Click on the file name and open.
- I received an error message when trying to open/read e-book!
Check to make sure you actually have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. You may think you have a pdf reader, but if you are having problems opening your e-book, there's a good chance you don't have it or the one you do have is bad. If you have an old version that no longer works, you need to delete it off your computer. Turn off your computer, restart it, and then download the newest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free.
- I received, “Pick program you want to use to open xx.pdf file” when trying to read the e-book.
That means you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, or another pdf reader, on your computer. You will need to download a pdf reader to your computer, install it on your computer, restart your computer, click on the title of the e-book, and open the book.
- I received a "Corrupted file" error message.
That is because you've been trying to open your e-book without the proper tools, or the current pdf reader is bad. Please download a newer pdf reader, delete the old e-book we sent you since it's now damaged, restart your computer, and email us asking to send you another copy of the e-book.
- I received a "File was quarantined" message.
This means that your email program is not accepting attachments. Your computer basically detected the attachment and deleted it or placed it in a spam filter, so you couldn't open it. Go to your email account (outlook express) and click on tools, then options, then security, and then unclick the "do not allow attachments." Restart your computer, delete the old e-book from your email, and email us asking to resend the e-book.
- I received a "Windows cannot find Acrord 32.exe" message.
This error message is saying your computer cannot find and/or read Adobe Acrobat Reader. It could be that you have a corrupted file, the file is outdated, or you don't have the reader installed on your computer. Please install the latest version.
- I received a "Viewer cannot decrypt document" message.
This message means you do not have a pdf reader on your computer.
- I received a "font contains bad Cmap/ Encoding" message.
This message means you need to download a newer version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- The file is trying to open up as a .dat program.
This happens when you do not have enough room in your email account to accept a large file. Clear out your old trash and emails you no longer need and request that your e-book be resent.
- I am having trouble downloading or reading my e-book.
It's important to clear your temporary internet files (cache). They take up a lot of space on your computer and can cause your computer to time out when downloading, not open certain documents or forms, and simply run very slowly. Free up space on your computer. Adobe recommends users have "free space equivalent to 3 times the size of the file that needs to be printed."
To create more space, clean your computer's cache and temporary files. To do so, you need to click on your start button, click on programs, then accessories, then system tools, then disk clean up, and finally click on C drive. Once at disk clean up, you would check the files you would like to delete, such as temporary files and temporary internet files. If that doesn't work. Delete the e-book sent to you and any unnecessary emails and we will send it as a .pdf attachment.
- I am having trouble opening e-book sent by attachment
All e-books are saved as a printable .pdf document. To "Open and Read" your e-book, follow these steps... Open your email with the e-book attachment. Click on the file (attachment) sent to you. Some email programs have the file listed as a link on the very bottom of your email message. Other email programs have the file listed as an attachment at the top of your email message.
If you are asked if you want to "Save the file or open it", click on save, then the next button. A new window should open up that has the e-book icon as a .pdf file. Click on the .pdf e-book icon. Read the e-book and/or print it out.
- I received an error or download link expired message.
Please understand that our download links expire to prevent unauthorized downloading and/or forwarding of the links. The download page you were taken to clearly states the link will expire in 36 hours. This is done to protect our products from illegal download and distribution. Please contact us with your order number, order date, and the name on your order and we'll be happy to assist you.
If the download link simply doesn't work, forward us the email with your download link, and order information, and we'll investigate the problem.
If the download link expired because you didn't download it within the 36 hour timeframe, we'll send a new download link.
If you've downloaded the e-book but didn't save it to your computer and the link is now expired, we'll send a new download link.
- I can't print the e-book.
All e-books are tested for printing before delivery. We make sure each of the e-books we sell have been saved with the print option in place. In fact, we ask each of our authors to
format their e-books so that you can three-hole-punch the left side of paper and put your e-books in binders!
If you experience trouble printing your e-book, whether it will only print one page, no pages, or prints bad characters, please check your printer's cable hook up. Make sure the cable from the computer to the printer is secure. If it is, try closing all programs you have open, then shut down your computer. Wait five minutes then restart your computer. Sometimes it's truly as simple as a reboot.
If that doesn't work, check your pdf reader. If you downloaded your reader from the Internet, there could have been a glitch in transmission; especially if you use a dial-up connection. Please delete the version on your computer and download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free.
- I saved the file directly to disk and cannot read it now.
Save it to your hard drive instead. Adobe recommends "storing .pdf files on a local hard disk to reduce potential problems and damage to your files." Once saved on the computer, you can then save a back-up of the file to disk.
Can I share my e-book file?
No. You are the only person licensed to have the e-book file. If you want to share the e-book, please have your colleagues, friends, and family members purchase their own copy.
Can I get a hard copy of the e-book I ordered?
No. E-books are distributed via automatic download or email attachment only. We do not have hard copies of our e-books. You will NOT receive a print version of our e-book in the mail.
Do I need an Internet connection to read the e-book?

You can read our e-books on your computer, through a portable reading device, or print them out and put them in a binder to be read away from the computer. The choice is yours to make.
