I am the owner and editor-in-chief of The Dabbling Mum eMagazine and shopping portal.
I built this award-winning online magazine from the ground up. Handling everything from basic html/css coding of the website to innovative low-cost marketing to running the day-to-day operations of the company.
I've handled everything from product development to content management to customer service to budgeting to public relations and social media.
Before returning to freelance work full-time, the eMagazine received over 40,000 monthly visitors, had 3 weekly e-zines boasting of 9,000 total subscribers, won serveral industry awards, and acquired 12 new articles every month—all with no advertising budget, and before social media.
Today, I balance my time between working with paying clients, running the magazine on a very limited and part-time basis, and finding ways to stay creative.
I enjoy working with work-at-home parents who want to stay home with their children and still keep one foot in the workforce.
