Wausau Daily Herald Says, "Those who know Edrich's site well say her magazine is the perfect first stop for parents who are looking for information.... her site saves readers countless hours of search time on the Internet....Giving consumers quality, reliable information tops Edrich's list of priorities."

Beresford, South Dakota business owner, Alyice Edrich runs a free publication for BUSY Parents. The Dabbling Mum® (http://thedabblingmum.com) may have an unusual name, but it’s content is a far cry from dabbling. With a high amount of professionalism, The Dabbling Mum® includes articles that take the guesswork out of researching; allowing parents to read more, research less, and spend more quality time their families.

Founder and Editor, Alyice Edrich, says, "The Dabbling Mum® has undergone a huge transformation over the years and only gets better with age. Before starting this online publication, I dreamt of owning a print magazine that blended small business and family life—a free place for parents to find valuable information―not hype―but free isn't financially sound or economical in the world of print.  By keeping this publication online, we're able to reach thousands of homes, provide solid advice, and hopefully change a few lives for the better."

The Dabbling Mum® may not be in print as Edrich had once dreamed, but her magazine is taking the Internet by storm! The Dabbling Mum® is steadily growing into a vast resource for parents everywhere with centers in small business, writing, parenting, recipes, book reviews, and regular contests.

Each contest on The Dabbling Mum® is designed to interact with its readers while providing an advertising medium for small businesses.  Each contest has a minimum of three sponsors, with prizes totally $75 in retail value.  In return, these small businesses gain publicity and The Dabbling Mum's visitors get to sample a new product—which could generate new sales for the small business.

"The Internet," says Edrich "is huge and can sometimes be intimidating. But when used properly, it can be a fun place. The desire of The Dabbling Mum® is to introduce parents to the Internet in a fun way, while helping them gain valuable resources from parents who have been there and done that."

Virginia Villaseñor, owner of Flutters of the Heart® has been coming to The Dabbling Mum® since it first opened its online doors back in 1999. Villaseñor says the publication's rich content may keep her coming back, but it's Edrich's determination to provide a high quality publication for busy parents to learn, balance family, grow businesses, and enjoy life that makes The Dabbling Mum® a success!
