The Christmas Book Of Hope is
a delightful read that’s sure to engage the entire family. Timothy Smith is in need of a Christmas miracle, so he writes a letter to
Santa. In the meantime, he sits down and prays to Jesus for help. While Santa genuinely tried to help Timothy, Timothy’s gift was
misplaced, but Timothy didn’t need Santa’s help after all, because Jesus answered his prayer. Timothy’s gift stayed misplaced for 300
years—that is until a distant relative, also named Timothy Smith, asked Santa for help. The book mysteriously appeared and was
delivered to Timothy. Though his circumstances didn’t change, the book’s message of joy, hope, and faith gave Timothy an entirely new
outlook on life.
The Christmas Book of Hope is beautifully illustrated with large, two-page illustrations designed to keep the attention of young
children. The message, while subtle, delivers two powerful statements:
- Prayer works.
- Sometimes Jesus doesn’t answer your prayers but when you believe strong enough, He can change your outlook and give you peace, joy,
hope, happiness, and contentment within the circumstances surrounding your life.
