Story Watchers Club Christmas brings
storytelling to life as a group of four storytellers take children on four, very special Christmas adventures. Announcing each story
teller, or helping to transition from one storyteller to another, are several cute puppets who put on quick skits discussing Christmas and presents and so much more.
- Kevin Cordi shares the story of a child looking to get Santa a gift; instead of waiting for a gift from Santa himself.
- Christine Petrell Kallevig tells the story of a little boy trying to make it home in time for Christmas after helping his uncle.
- Mary Jo Huff shares the story of an elf who tries to nurse Santa back to health before he misses Christmas altogether.
- And finally, Michael R. Kasony-O’Malley tells the story of how the very first Christmas tree came about (resulting from the marriage of a mean Count and the Fairy
Queen) and asks the kids to participate in the story through hand clapping.
This video is just fabulous. It entertains and educates our youth while helping them learn to appreciate their imaginations. It also gives them
a sense of what Christmas is really about. And for children who want to know more about each storyteller, they can “meet the storytellers” via the special features section.
If you’re looking for a way to help children feel comfortable using their imaginations, this is the video for you.
