Submit Your Product For Review

We started reviewing products back in 2002, when we ran a weekly e-zine consisting of 9,000 combined subscribers. Today, the majority of our reviews our housed on our DM Speaks blog where we receive 3,000 monthly visitors. We also mention reviews via several social networking outlets, for added coverage.

Where Review Products Come From

Let it be known that we provide unbiased, non-monetary compensated reviews for products that we:

received as a complimentary (free) review sample,
purchased with our own monies,
received as a gift from a friend or family member, or
borrowed from a library or friend.

The opinions expressed in each review, and the products they're linked to, are not to be taken as endorsements, express or implied.

Liability Clause

The Dabbling Mum® assumes no responsibility for unsolicited or solicited materials and makes no promises to review any products delivered for review.

Reserve Rights

We reserve the right to choose which products to feature.

We do not give out positive reviews.

If your product doesn't meet our publication's standards, if it does not hold up to its promises, if your product is poorly manufactured, if we simply cannot get into your book or it's poorly written...If...then we will not give a glowing review.

Because we believe there is enough negativity in the world, and our parents are too busy to have to sort through "bad product reviews", we only share reviews of products we like.

We will not post or distribute a bad review of your product and we never share a review of a product we don't like and pretend to like it. We may, however, list a few negative along with the positives, if the overall product is good but lacking in some areas.

Product Is NOT Returned

No review products are ever returned; regardless of whether or not your product makes it to review.

If you submit your product for review, do not expect it to be returned. All products delivered for review become the property of this publication and/or its staff.

Review Process

After receiving your product for review, we'll take a look at our schedule and line up a date to try (or test) your product, and another date to feature it.

Once we feature your product, we'll send you a link to the review and mention it via all of our social networks.

Your review will either be placed on this website or on our DM Speaks blog.

What Happens To Your Product

After we review your product we will do one of the following with it:

keep your product in-house,
give your product away for word-of-mouth advertising,
use your product for a prize in one of our contests,
donate your product to a local charity or fundraising event,
donate your product to the local library,
give your product away at an event, or
share your product with a needy family in our local area.

E-books: Please note that we do not give e-books out as prizes, donations, etc. unless the publisher/author donates a print copy and/or CD for this purpose.
