Arts and Crafts Project
We offer cash payment for original arts 'n crafts tutorials
Green Arts 'n Crafts Projects Wanted
We do not overlap arts and crafts projects, however, we don't mind including two of the same nature projects if they're completely different in theme and materials. For instance, we have a Baby Mobile on the website with paper cutouts but have a By-The-Sea Mobile with sea shells and twigs. That would definitely be something we'd be interested in. Please send a query before actually putting your tutorial together. Article fee and publication rights are non-negotiable. We pay $50 for exclusive online rights with indefinite archival rights per accepted arts 'n crafts tutorial. Tutorial must include step-by-step instructions plus accompanying step-out photos with photo of final project. If your tutorial and/or images have already been published online, you can donate that tutorial with accompanying images, using the submission form here. Please answer all bullets in the body of an email. Make sure you use the same format listed below so we know you understand our terms.
Each step must be spelled out as if the reader is new to the craft. Break steps down into small segments so that each step is easy to follow; especially if you choose not to include a photo for each step. Send Query or Complete Project First Send your email to: * subs {at} thedabblingmum.com * Subject line: Arts And Crafts Project Submission Hold All Attachments Please do not send photographs until your project has been accepted. All attachments will be DELETED without being read unless we specifically requested them from you. Follow Up No matter how reliable we like to believe technology is, it sometimes fails. If you don't hear from us within 8 weeks, please email us again. Important To receive payment, your tutorial must never have been and/or never will be given away for free. Please understand no one wants to pay for an article that could have been received for free. If we paid for exclusive online rights, your tutorial must NEVER appear online--even as a reprint--anywhere but here. It's fine to create a derivative of your work for another online publication, provided it looks and sounds nothing like the work you sold to us. Reprint Rights This article may NOT be reprinted without monetary compensation and written permission from the author. For reprint rights or comments/questions about this article, please contact the author. |
