Business Ideas

We are always in need of new business idea articles. We currently have a list of 100 ideas (here) that we would like to have covered.

Social Networking

So much is being said about social media and social networking, but very few work-at-home moms, or homebased business dads, get it. This year we want to help end that confusion by giving small businesses a chance to succeed using these free, and often under-utilized marketing outlets. (please don't repeat anything already covered here)

Party Planning

We want tips on planning the perfect party, on creating themed party events, on including our children in the party planning process. And we want at least one photo to accompany the article. (please don't cover a party idea that has already been covered here)

Craft Tutorials

We're truly excited to be introducing a new "arts and crafts" section to the magazine this year and want to see it grow every month. Craft writers wanted: We're looking for both original tutorials and reprints. Each project, however, must include photos of the completed project, and if possible, step by step photos. (please do not cover a project that has already been covered here)

Family Finances

We're looking for tried and true tips on making ends meet in a tough economy. We don't want you to reword information you've found on the 'net, or read in books. We don't just want to read your personal story, either. Though it's a great way to start the article, we want step-by-step instructions on how you've been able to get out of debt, cut down on your grocery bill, save for college, retire early, take a fabulous family vacation without spending a fortune, pay for your child's extra-curricular activities, saved money on x, y, and z, etc. (please do not cover any financial tips that have already been covered here)

Family Night

With our economy in the tank, parents need fresh, new ideas to spend time with their families more than ever! Share your family night experience and idea for hanging out on a budget. (please do not cover a date night that has already been covered here)

Letter Writing

As the 'net takes over the way we communicate with our loved ones, the art of letter writing is dying. We'd like to show tech-savvy individuals that this lost art is worth saving. We want personal stories and how-to tutorials with photos, (please do not cover a topic already covered here)

Host A Writing Event

Have you been able to supplement your writing income by hosting writing-related events? We're always looking for unique ways to earn extra money as a writer. Share your supplemental income tip and help other writers discover new ways of paying the bills. (please do not cover an event already covered here)
