Our readers love to feel the passion behind the artist, and learn something valuable along the way. Think of this interview as a way to pay-it-forward while drawing attention to your art.
We are looking for artists that sell original artwork for under $100, on a regular basis; artists who have taken the time to focus on quality, not quantity.
We are looking for artists who want to offer original art to the average, hardworking man, woman, and child. Artists who understand that by making art affordable to everyone, we can change the world's perception about art… we can show the world that buying art is just as therapeutic as making it… that art changes lives… that art saves lives... that the word needs art.
For an idea of what we are looking for check out past Originals For Under $100 interviews.
Please note that we are not looking for jewelry, clothing, knitted, or crocheted pieces. We are not looking for reprints, mass-produced copies, e-books, print books, technique DVDs, or workshops.
We are also NOT looking for starting bids on auction sites for under $100… We are looking for flat rate original artwork at $100 or less.
And just to make it clear... We are not asking for artists to under-price or under-value their work just to offer something at a discounted rate.
We are looking for artists who—for whatever reason—have chosen to offer a collection of original art for under $100 a piece.
This collection could be their "studies", "practice pieces", or even art they intentionally create with the lower price in mind. Think... sketches, pen and ink drawings, line drawings, watercolor paintings, acrylic paintings, mixed media art, collaged pieces, assemblage pieces, miniature sculptures, etc.
