Boo! Are your startled? It may be spring, but in Magazine Land, it’s October. Right now, magazine editors are reviewing articles for
their fall and winter issues – including things that go BUMP in the night. October is the month that magazines focus on crafts, family
history or cultural holidays. Whether you are shoveling snow or planting spring flowers, take some time and write about Fall.
Challenge: Write a query letter and an outline of an article (using the listings below) that is completely objective with regards to
Fall, Halloween, or other seasonal activities. The key here is to go outside your comfort zone.
